Julie's Race for Life
Inverness 5k 2019
Sun 26 May 2019 - Sun 26 May 2019
I am taking part in the Race for Life in honour of my brave and inspirational wee cousin Corrie who kicked cancers butt last year! Further research is needed to find a cure for this disease.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. My cousin Corrie was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma last year, her courage, determination and attitude in general to fight this disease was quite astounding and truly inspirational. Corrie underwent many months of chemotherapy and was given a cancer free diagnosis just before Christmas last year. In honour of Corrie's brave fight against cancer and to those who have sadly lost their battle with cancer, including my other cousin Kyle, I kindly ask you to donate to this worthwhile cause that will help to continue to search for a cure to this awful disease. Any donations big or small are very much appreciated.
