My Story
I am joining a wonderful group of ladies, known as the Bridge4Babes, in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. They have already raised over £1000 for a great cause, Cancer Research UK, and now it is my turn to do my bit before our race this Saturday (12 May). A bit of mud and pain is nothing compared to the suffering of many due to cancer. I am taking part in memory of my father and other close friends who have had to fight this battle.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
