My journey with breast cancer, together with friends who have also walked this path.

In memory of

Ernest Jewell, Kathleen Jewell, Clarice Moss, Marilyn Logan and Mike Mitchell

My Story

My breast cancer journey began in June 2016. I discovered along the way I was not alone. For all those friends who have also been through this, you have been my inspiration. It has been by no means a walk in the park as my banner suggests, however I believe I have made it through this year with strength, humour and determination. To my amazing responsible adult, family and friends I owe an immeasurable debt, thank you for all your love and support. A recent email with a friend from my Portsmouth University days revealed that her sister was also on her journey and so I have signed up to join them on the Bedford 5K, we will be walking together. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
