I'm running the London Marathon for Cancer Research UK to beat cancer sooner.
My Story
It's the 2nd of January and I've just been told that another friend has been diagnosed with cancer today. This disease affects far too many people, directly and indirectly, so I've decided to use my place in this year's London Marathon to try to raise some much needed funds into the causes and cures. Any amount that you can afford to donate will be very welcome - and help to motivate me to put the training miles in through whatever the winter will throw at me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
