In memory of
Patricia Georgiou (Auntie Pat)
Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. To help raise money for cancer research I decided to do a marathon before I turn 50 in November. 26 miles she’s mad you must be thinking! Well maybe I am! But this will be the only time I ever walk that far so it’s got to be wroth a sponsor so please weather a £1 £5 or £10 it’s for a good course. I’m also doing this in memory off my Auntie Pat who at the young age of 55 lost her battle to brain cancer, I know she’ll be with us all the way. So a big thank you to all of you that donate and wish me luck I’m going to need it 😂
CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
