My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I completed the Cancer Research UK skipping challenge back in February of this year. 3 days after that, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. I've had surgery and am currently undergoing chemotherapy. I should finish that at the end of October, a few days before this challenge ends. Hoping it'll help make the final month of chemo pass more quickly. Following this, I'll be having more surgery. Triple negative breast cancer was discovered less than 20 years ago and currently, can only be treated by surgery and chemotherapy. It doesn't have any hormone receptors. It is generally aggressive and fast growing. Mine was a 10mm stage 1 but grade 3 tumour. Surgery was successful meaning that it was completely removed with 5mm margins, it wasn't in the lymph nodes and not near any blood vessels. I’m walking 100 miles throughout October to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page.
