After a gruelling four weeks of gym, treadmill, cross trainer, weight training, walking, jumping jacks, I can announce that I have successfully completed the Sweatember Challenge. 🎉
Not only have I exceeded my donation target of £100; thank you to everyone who supported me with money donations and to those who were cheerleading me from the stands and those providing supporting words; but I also exceeded my own expectations to fully engage. Well done me! 😆

No doubt the money raised will help to fund life-saving cancer research which touches and ends countless numbers of lives.
Continuing to support Cancer Research UK is no 'Sweat..'!

Week Two and I'm still standing. It's been a tough week to stay motivated but with perseverance and determination I
Walked 22.83 miles
Taken approx 55400 steps
And worked 40 hours in the gym.
My journey so far is nothing compared to the many people who are diagnosed with and enduring cancer.

Week One of the Sweatember challenge is up and boy what a week.
To date I have:
Walked 23.9 miles
Taken approx 57000 steps
Spent 5 hours in total at the gym
And feeling the pain, however I am keeping focussed on the reason and benefits of doing this and moving forward into week two.

Day 1 - Enjoying the sunshine and starting off my Sweatember challenging slow and steady. So far I have spent the first day walking at every opportunity rather than jumping into the car and working in the allotment, so burning up calories and on target to achieve my 10,000 step for the day.
I hope to keep you posted on my progress at weekly intervals, so check back in seven days time for a round-up of my week.
Keep it moving!
