Julie Ps Race for Life

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I first took part in the York Race for Life 5Km in 2012 with my colleagues when my lovely boss Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because of the brilliant treatments available five years later she is enjoying retirement to the full. Last year I made the mistake of saying I would do the 10 km Race in 2017 ! Forgetting I am another year older and my joints might not like it!! But compared to people going through chemotherapy it is nothing . This year I shall have my lovely colleague Judys name on my back .When she was diagnosed last year I told her I would do it for her this year and she would be there to see me do it! She is still going through chemotherapy but fighting hard. Sadly since I started this page another of my colleagues Ali has been diagnosed with cancer so I have another good reason to raise funds .
