My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I have been challenged to do this by my niece, Tazmin, so I really hope that she is going to keep her end of the bargain, and do it too! I lost my Dad to cancer, and that still hurts. Maybe by raising more funds together we can save someone else's Dad.... This March I’m going to try to up my walking to 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. This will double my current average, so is going to be a real long haul. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
