My Story
In August 2023 I was diagnosed with high grade endometrial cancer. Fortunately for me it was caught early and 2 weeks after diagnosis I had a full hysterectomy with removal of my uterus, cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes and lymph nodes followed by radiotherapy in November. I feel incredibly lucky to be still teaching my yoga and pilates classes and enjoying time with my children, family and friends. Without the ongoing research put into cancer treatments my story could have been very different. I’m not a runner and not keen on mud so this is a challenge for me. I’m fortunate to be doing this alongside a wonderful group of people from the gym where I work. I would be super grateful if you would support this amazing cause. Cancer rates are so high as now 1 in 2 of us with receive that diagnosis. Let’s team together to beat cancer.
