Julia's Race for Life 2019

The three of us will be taking part in Race for Life on 16 June this year to raise money for Cancer Research. Very sadly, in January 2017, we lost our dear granny/my mother-in-law to pancreatic cancer 3 weeks after diagnosis. Since then we have lost more dear family and friends to cancer but have been totally inspired by others who have fought this awful disease and those who continue to do so. Personally, I am truly thankful to my wonderful family and friends who have supported me along the way. Your love, care and support since I was diagnosed with breast cancer 18 months ago has been amazing - thank you from the bottom of my heart. From my own experience I can say it is a hell of a rollercoaster of a journey!!! I cannot post this without mentioning the wonderful care and treatment I have had from my oncologist and his team, my surgeon and his care team, the radiotherapy team at the Velindre and the healthcare at home team.
