Julia's Race for Life

The three of us will be taking part in Race For Life on 17th June this year to raise money for cancer research. Very sadly, in January 2017 we lost our dearest Granny/mother-in-law to cancer after just a short 3 week battle after diagnosis. Over the last couple of years we have also lost close family friends, but unfortunately, our family's battle with cancer didn't end there. In October 2017, I began my own battle with breast cancer. After 2 operations to remove the cancer and lymph nodes, I am now currently undergoing chemotherapy and will need treatment for the foreseeable future. I have a very long road ahead but I will find strength and fight this together with the love and support from my amazing family and friends. My motto is "onwards and upwards!!!" This year we are asking for any donations, no matter how small, to help such a worthy cause that plays a huge part in our lives as well as many others. I am hoping to be feeling well enough on June 17th to take part in Race For Life with Lizzie and Jenny, however there is still a chance that I may not feel up to it. Therefore, although we have our own separate fundraising pages, we will be putting all of the money together as a group. So if only Lizzie and Jenny manage to do it, my contributions will still be added to the final total to donate to Cancer Research.
