My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m completing the Walk 30 Miles Challenge throughout November to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. Like so many people, I have lost people dear to me to cancer of one kind or another. One of these deaths is particularly hard to remember. A beloved friend, Debs, died at the age of 43 – still vibrant, beautiful, gifted and with lots to live for. She made me promise that if I ever had symptoms like hers I would insist on being treated. Statistics mean that many of us will be affected, but at the same time survival rates are increasing and right now some exciting new breakthroughs are being made. Please help me in supporting this important new work. THANK YOU!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
