Kevin Durkan - my kid brother
20th Apr 1960 - 24th Jan 2018
Kevin was a young 57year old who enjoyed his life. He was usually fit and active but was taken ill on return from an exotic holiday which he had been looking forward to. 4 months later he died. His illness progressed very quickly barely giving him time to come to terms with it. I am walking tonight in his memory in the hope that by doing so many others will not be taken so early as he was. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
