My Grandad and Peter
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime To get that diagnosis is a shock and then you have to tell those around you - I was diagnosed with breast cancer this time 3 years ago ; fortunately caught early it was dealt with by an operation and no further treatment was needed I imagine most of you have been or will be affected in one way or another I lost my Grandad when I was 10,and had to tell my daughter,aged 12 ,she had lost her father I have dear friends who have had that diagnosis and thankfully survived thanks to advancements in diagnosis and treatments Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
