My Story
I shall be taking part in the Great North Run to raise funds for Cancer Research UK in memory of my great friend and colleague Sandra Woodhall, who sadly died in June. In almost 30 years as chairman of the local group she worked tirelessly and raised over half a million pounds for that charity. She was also much loved as the local vet, and as a friend to all Llangollen. I'm no spring chicken (!) and it won't be easy but I wanted to do this as a tribute to her. Cancer Research UK will be very grateful for any donation you can make in her memory
