My Story
26th September is a memorable date in our family due to the fact that it is the date my husband Fred died of cancer after a 13 year battle. Once we saw that the Race for Life was scheduled for that date this year we, as a family, decided that it was the perfect opportunity to do something together in Fred's memory and at the same time raise much needed money for cancer research. So my two children, Lloyd and Megan, their partners and myself will be running on what will be the 15th anniversary of his death. That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life.
