My Story
I was diagnosed with Bowel cancer last year at the age of 37, undergoing surgery and chemotherapy, then discovered in May this year that it had spread and more chemo and possibly surgery will be necessary. As a result, I am extremely grateful for all the research that has been done so far to make this treatment possible, but I am also acutely aware of the need for the research to continue, for new treatments to be developed which can give me and others like me hope that we can beat this awful disease or at the very least maximise the time we have with our family and friends. Please help us fight back and donate whatever you can, every little bit helps. Thank you xxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
