I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to give something back
In October 2017 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After a mastectomy in November & a further gland clearance operation in January followed by physio and a course of radiotherapy I am finally looking forward. It has been a roller coaster of emotions for the last 6 months, but with the help and support of my wonderful partner Guy, family and friends, I am ready to give something back. The support I have received from the Medical profession has been second to none, special thanks especially to Bassetlaw Hospital who have been simply amazing. But none of this would have happened without the advances in research that have been helped by the outstanding commitment of the fundraisers themselves for whom I am truly grateful. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound donated makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. So if you'd like to sponsor me please feel free. I and countless others will be truly grateful. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
