For all my friends who in one way or another had to face cancer!
My lovely Joe, his best friend Lauren and I are taking part in the 10K run to raise money for Cancer Research UK because I think all of us know someone who's either currently undergoing cancer treatment, who's survived cancer or who's sadly lost the battle with cancer. A lot of us had cancer scares, we might worry about it and we worry for our children. The sad reality is that a lot of us will have to face it in some way or another. And should that day come we can only wish for the best possible treatment that will lead to a positive outcome. Hopefully, the money Joe, Lauren and I are raising will help to provide just that. Thank you.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
