Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will cycle over 300 miles for Cancer Research UK. It doesn't sound far to some but 75 miles a week on a bike is a long way for me! Every penny I raise will make a huge difference to vital cancer research so please support me with a donation to my page. Like me most people have family or friends who have battled cancer, but I decided to attempt this challenge for two reasons. The first is that charities like Cancer Research UK have seen a decline in donations in recent months and, secondly, my brother was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma shortly after lockdown. It has been a particularly tough time for him and all his family but we have supported each other as best we can. We have laughed and we have cried, all at a social distance of course, but hopefully the treatment he is receiving will be successful and we will eventually be able to give each other a much needed hug and say thank you not just for the care he is receiving but the research that has made his treatment possible.
