Jothi's Walk 100 Miles Challenge Giving Page
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10k steps a day in the month to help beat cancer. For my wonderful friend Andy. He had, in our eyes a shockingly quick battle with cancer. He was the healthiest & fittest 57 year old ever...he was taken too soon. He was in our lives for the last 23 years and was Uncle Andy to my kids, he babysat my kids for all the years we needed, we shared holidays in Wales, meals at home, meals out, games nights, sea swims, trips to Westonbirt, walks around Bristol, but we mostly shared all the celebration days including Christmases & Birthdays. I am walking 10,000 steps a day for the month of March. I am walking for Cancer Research UK for selfish reasons as I need a focus; because I will miss him. He was a gem of an Engineer that I quickly befriended during my early working days. His kindness, knowledge, dry humour, political debate, work conversations I will now look back and treasure. He was a good man & friend to me & my family. We will all miss him. If you would like to donate, please do, but I will be donating at the end of March myself.
