In July 2019 I will taking part in 5k pretty mudder with my sister & 2 good friends (team sassy sisters) to raise money for cancer research. As some of you may know I was diagnosed in December 2015 with breast cancer, after 9 months of chemotherapy then radiotherapy, it was a very difficult time not just for me but also for my family & close friends. I am still on hormone medication to hopefully reduce the chances of my cancer returning & will be for some time, however I consider myself very lucky, I am now 3 years clear & feeling very happy & positive about my life & the future. This is all thanks to research & studies so it is something that means a lot to me personally. I am taking part to help raise money for more research In the hope that less gruelling treatments can be found & a cure for all types of cancers. Anything you can give will be most appreciated, thankyou for taking the time to read my story😊x x
