I think we have all been affected by cancer at some stage, be it a family member or a friend, the current statistics show 1 in 3 of us will be affected by this horrible disease at some point in our lives. With this in mind, prevention outweighs that of the cure! Benjamin Patel, Liam Barret, Jonathan Hunter and myself have collectively decided to not only raise awareness but to also raise critically needed funds to help cancer research uk to further achieve their end goal! The four of us are attending the 2019 Screwball Rally which entails driving 1800 miles around Europe on the 18th - 24th September in a car of our choice but...... there’s a big catch! The car has to be purchased for less than £750! We have managed to find a banged up, helpless but blindly ambitious, 1994 Mitsubishi Shogun Pajero! That’s 25 years old!! Over the few years Screwball Rally has been operating, they have raised over £1,000,000 for a number of charities! All donations are welcome no matter how big or how small! Be it a pound or as big as a donation you are willing to give! Every single penny of the donations is going directly to this great charity! We will be documenting the trip for everyone’s amusement and as an added bonus, the largest donator will win the Shogun post rally! (Optional) Donations close 23rd September!
