My Story
About this event: A pleasant 5 mile sponsored Sunset Seaside Stroll on the beach from Leas Minster, Sheppey to Queenborough, at Sunset. The route boasts beach views and a stunning sunset over the Thames Estuary. Raising funds for Cancer Research UK because not everything is a race. • Date: 10th August 2019 • Start time: 19:00 - 19:45 • Approximate finish time: 23:30 (depends on how fast or slow the slowest stroller is) • Route: Minster to Queensborough • Distance: a pleasant 5 mile sponsored stroll – Leas Minster, Sheppey to Queensborough, at sunset. • If driving to the start, please note that the finish is 5 miles away. Recommended: torch, sensible shoes and sensible clothing dependant on the weather. Fun for Life believe that fundraising should be fun, so fancy dress is welcome!
