my motivation is to raise money and knowing that people will benefit from this when I do so.
My Story
I am fortunate enough not to have had someone close to me die of cancer, however this makes me feel angered to know that this terrible disease is killing people all over the world. Completing this marathon and raising as much money as possible would mean the world to me and hopefully motivate more and more people to get involved in fundraising for this wonderful charity. In addition to this my brother is doing a PHD in the area of cancer research at the imperial college in London and this motivated me to raise money knowing part of my family could benefit from this

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
