My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I'm going to be giving up alcohol for a whole month! There are a number of reasons for this, firstly in order to raise some money for a worthy cause but also as alcohol has had an effect on my life in a number of ways, not all good so to see what life is like without it will be interesting to say the least. As well as this I'll be offering support to a dear friend who is going to be going through the same thing this January

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
