I am aiming to raise at least £200 for this charity, every pound makes an amazing difference. I will be raising this up until the 12th of July in which I will shave my head.
In memory of
I am raising this in memory of my grandad who we sadly lost to lung cancer.
My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I have chosen this charity because there are so many out there that are facing battles with this disease every day. If I can raise anything then we will be one step closer to beating this horrible disease and hopefully stop around 10 million people dying world wide each year. Over the years I have lost several family members to different forms of cancer, a dear friend of mine also lost someone to cancer, whom I am also raising money for in memory of her. We have all lost someone over the years or we ourselves may be battling as we speak or have even beat the disease.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
