Rosie and I are taking part in Tunbridge Wells 5K Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
My Story
We are raising funds to help beat cancer. As a family we have lost so many close friends to cancer as well as many friends who are still having their personal battles with it. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
