Jo's Race for Life

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. We will all experience the harsh effects of cancer, be it our own journey or that of a loved one. Cancer is not fussy who it picks on. As many of you know, I have my own treatment journey that's still on going, and I have relied upon an amazing team of Doctors and Nurses to treat this dreadful disease, but that team of people have relied upon access to latest research to create an ever changing treatment plan for me. I feel it's time to give something back to say thank you. Also we will be remembering a team members Dad, who sadly lost his life to this terrible disease, but without all his treatment and care he wouldn't have had that extra precious family time, that cancer was trying to steal from him.❤️
