My Story
Since the tragic death of a little Sing and Signer in 2012 Sasha, the founder of Sing and Sign, asks each franchisee to raise as much money as they can each year for Cancer Research UK. This charity is important to us at Sing and Sign because we know that many of the babies who attend our groups will, one day, benefit from research being done right now into cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Sing and Sign has raised over £60K for Cancer Research UK to date and this year I'm going to be running the High Wycombe 10km Race for Life to do my bit. I've never run 10km before and I'm really scared, but I'm up for the challenge and I know the money I can raise for Cancer Research UK will make it all worth it! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
