My Story
Back in January 2018 my lovely friend Karen was diagnosed with cancer. Together we agreed that my next run would be in aid of cancer research on the agreement that when she was better we would fund raise together. Sadly Karen lost her battle on th 24th June 2018. Please help me raise money in memory of Karen and to help increase awareness, improve treatments, find a cure and to support families out there having to deal with the reality of how cancer changes your world! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
