Shine London 2019 - Half Marathon
Sat 21 Sep 2019 - Sat 21 Sep 2019
Everyone knows someone affected by cancer....1 in 2 people will be diagnosed in their lifetime. My story with cancer started when my Dad was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer when I was just 14. I watched him battle hard for the next 6 years, but he sadly passed away on 20th October 2000. Since then so many people I love have been diagnosed or lost their battles with this horrible disease, and this is why I'm doing everything I can to help Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer! On 2nd June I completed my first Race for Life 5k (anyone who knows me will know that's no mean feat) with my friend Hannah, and now on 21st September we'll be taking part in the CRUK Shine Night-Walk Half Marathon! Please donate, if not for me, then for the special someone you know who's been affected by cancer. Thank you x
