My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’ve decided to step up to the challenge of walking 10,000 steps every day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. This cause holds a very special place in my heart. In 2015 my wonderful dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer, filling this he had a partial gastrectomy, he endured weeks of being in a coma, suffering with pneumonia and numerous infections. Then 2 years later he was diagnosed as terminal and the cancer had returned again he took on the chemotherapy like a warrior and is still fighting the battle with cancer now.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
