Race for Life for Sarah 5K 2022

Sun 24 Jul 2022 - Sun 24 Jul 2022

My Story

Sarah Harding passed away in September of last year due to breast cancer. As a long term fan of Girls Aloud, I wanted to do something in memory of her, so when the other band members set up a 5k run to raise funds for Cancer Research, it was the perfect opportunity to get involved and help them raise as much as possible. Every pound you can donate will help towards Cancer Research UK’s life-saving breast cancer research, so please sponsor me today if you can. If you’d like to join the Race for Life community like I have, then sign up at today.

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
