My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Coincide with Race for Life, I'm supporting Fighting to be Heard; a charity that provides awareness, financial, emotional support & friendships for women living with incurable secondary breast cancer. This dual fundraiser is keeping a promise! Like so many others, I was devastated to hear of Katie Enell's death; an old, wonderful friend from Sacred Heart & 1 of Fighting to be Heard's founders & trustees! When I first heard Katie was battling cancer, I promised myself, I would do what I could to support her... now it's about honouring her memory & supporting the incredible women battling the same heinous form of cancer! Cancer affects half of us, yet it effects ALL of us... so, it will take ALL of us to make the difference!
