My Story

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research. Cancer is horrible, it doesn't care who you are, what your worth, age, sex or religion. It destroys you, your family and your friends. Cancer for me has been in my life since I was a child, loosing my Little Nana, Uncle, Aunt's and now its attacked my Mam. Fortunately my Mam kicked back but is still recovering and everyday she fights on. My Mam got the good news everyone wants, we got it. Because cancer has played a major part of my life, I wanted to do something special. I ride motorcycles and thought what better way of raising money and enjoying myself at the same time, sticking 2's up at cancer whilst doing it. Why 2021.....Well I need plenty of time to organise my route, which direction, locations etc. See if I can get donations from other sources. Is it solo.... Well initially yes but if anyone would like to join me then the company is most welcomed. Is it an annual ride.... MamsRide will hopefully be an annual ride, whether its the same route or different route, different country. I hope to do it every year. I'm lucky to still have my Mam but others not so lucky. I will still ride for the 3 M's Mam's, Mum's, Mummy's. Thanks, Jon.
