In 2019 a colleague of mine was diagnosed with cancer. This was a real shock to himself, his young family and our whole team and proof that this horrible and indiscriminate disease can hit anyone at any time. Thankfully he has now fully recovered and is able to perform his role at work and, more importantly, his role as a father and husband. In recognition of his bravery and the excellent medical treatment that he received, myself and others from Mazars Leeds are hoping to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. Due to this horrible disease I have lost the opportunity to introduce my daughter to 3 of her Great Grandparents! So they will definitely be in my mind, and heart, during this run and fundraising effort. MY PLEDGE: IF BY MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER I HAVE COMPLETED MY FUNDRAISING TARGET THEN I WILL NOT ONLY COMPLETE THE GNR, BUT I WILL COMPLETE A HALF MARATHON EACH DAY THAT WEEK, FINISHING ON SUNDAY 12TH WITH THE GNR! Thanks for taking the time to read my page. Jonathan x Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
