My Story
Everyone knows someone who has been effected by Cancer, be it a family member, a close friend, or a colleague. We all have personal stories and hardships surrounding this disease, this is why on October 16th 2026, Hop Kettle are doing a Fundraising Event for Cancer Research so we can help the doctors and scientists behind this charity to discover, detect, prevent and treat Cancer. We will be holding a music quiz and raffle throughout the night! Here's how you can help! Bring a team! - Ticket price is £10 and first place wins £120! Buy raffle tickets! - We have plenty of prizes which have been generously donated by our local businesses. Donate! - If you can't make it on the night but still want to support, please donate to this page to help us reach our goal!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
