Sandra passed away a year ago from the evilness that is breast cancer. It was truly heart breaking to watch my friend decline over a period of years, but she never gave up hope and supported everyone around her, right to the end. A few days before she passed she was still talking to me about what weekends away we were going to have and what memories we were going to make. She lived her life to the full as long as she could and I thank her so much for being in my life. She loved all animals but particularly cats and tapirs. We shared a fondness for cheesy soft rock music and when no boys were willing to dance (which was most of the time), we would smoochy dance together. I miss knitting her things, getting pissed together/sharing hangovers together, telling her about my day, and taking the pee out of her for drinking Chardonnay. I miss the joy she brought and she has left a hole in my life that can never be filled. She loved her family, her friends and her beloved husband Kev and we all miss her dearly. In yet another attempt to loose weight and get healthy I have put my name down to do this run....walk....crawl and I am doing this in her name, it is the least I can do! She would find it hilarious but would support me anyway - she was kinda like that! Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
