My Story
Cancer is happening right now everywhere, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I am not only taking part in this event but the North Lincolnshire half marathon in March and the Manchester Marathon in April. This will be a new challenge for myself along with being a good cause at the same time. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Which also has an effect on their family lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please help and sponsor me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
