My Story
Having never run a race since secondary school, owning knees that click just walking and living with the worry about bending over to pick things up in case I can't get back up again, this 10k will be a challenge and with only 6 weeks to prepare it is going to be tough. I want to beat my personal unfitness and cross that finish line. But this is nothing compared to what cancer sufferers have to go through. My personal challenge will finish at the finish line - I'm raising money so that cancer sufferers can have their own personal finish line where they can say they've beat cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
