John's Race for Life

When your told that a loved one has been diagnosed with a form of Cancer, it is one of scariest things you can face. From the uncertainty of what is going to happen and how to find the best treatment. It is all an incredible challenge and changes your whole outlook on life. I am one of the lucky ones, where my partner, Kim's, diagnosis is treatable and able to be kept under control. On top of this, a very close friend was also diagnosed and they have battled through their treatment, not letting it get the better of them. I am so proud of both of them. Medical advances have come a long way, so hopefully, with the funds these charity events raise, we will get that little bit closer to making all cancers curable.
