In memory of
Mum
I'm sure most people have got a story about the absolute b*****d that is cancer. Mine is this, I lost my Mum a few years ago to small cell carcinoma, this works so fast that we had only a few weeks between diagnosis and losing here, I never got a chance to say a propoer goodbye. Last year my sister in law was diagnosed with peritonetal cancer, with the fantastic help of the medical profession, she is fighting and winning the battle. A big two fingers up to cancer, be careful who you pick on. I'm so pleased that I've got the opportunity to try and raise some funds for Cancer Research UK the scientific and medical profession in this country leave me in awe and humbled by their skill and compassion in dealing with such a varied enemy and the emotional impact it has on the people involved, what they do is truly amazing. Anyway I'm running 5km, for those that know me I'm at the uppoer end of my weight range at the moment so it will be mostly walking, but I will get there. Please can I ask, if you've reached this page, even if you don't want to donate could you tell your friends, the more who know the better.
