I'm running the Ealing Half Marathon in September to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I only started running 4 years ago, after being a couch potato for too long. I kept at it and joined the Ealing, Southall and Middlesex Running Club and ran my first half marathon last year. This year I want to beat my personal best and raise money for an amazing cause. I witnessed first-hand the devastating effects that cancer can have on a family following my mother-in-law's diagnosis six years ago. I want to do what I can to help others going through this life-changing and to help save as many lives as possible. Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
