Together we are beating cancer
Longest Day Up is a motorbike challenge to travel from Lands End to John O'Groats on the longest day of the year between sunrise and sunset. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £300. John and I looked to join the 2020 (postponed to 2021) event without knowing that only a few short months later my partner Hayley would be diagnosed with a melanoma on her arm. Thankfully we are now all clear but this lends even more strength to our cause in supporting cancer research.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
