My Story
I've only spoken about this with those I hold closest to me, but at the end of 2017 I lost my mum to cancer. It's still painful to think or talk about and posting this is slightly terrifying. But the reason I am sharing this part of my life is because I want to do something positive, even if it's small. So I've decided to run the race for Life on the 26th of September. I want to do this not only for my sake to face this pain head on, but of course to raise money for an amazing cause. If you want to support me that would mean a lot. I've set no goal and have no expectations of this experience but I just wanted to do something positive, especially after what has been such a hard time for everyone, myself included.
