I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer.
My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I'm Joe, I'm a drummer and I'm 23. I was diagnosed with a 1" brain tumour (Pituitary Macroadenoma to be precise) in Septemeber this year, and although the likelihood is that it isn't cancer, there's still a very real chance that it could be. My battle has just begun with this and I've got a long way and a lot of treatment to go before things get better, so just before Christmas I'll be getting my head shaved - by you if you want.. It's only £20 and the more the merrier!! - so that I can stand in solidarity with those that aren't in quite a fortunate position. Whether you donate £1 or £100 everything is welcome and goes towards this fantastic charity so please donate. You never know what's 'round the corner. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
