My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page! In November of 2022, my girlfriend’s mother, Sarah, was unfortunately diagnosed with Metastatic Malignant Melanoma and this has since reached stage four of the cancer staging, with Melanoma being the 5th most common cancer in the UK. Sarah Gamble, who has many wonderful attributes, is a fighter and you know what, so are we! As a collective, we are going to be taking part in the 5k Race for Life to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research. We have a team of 6 of us, all of Sarah’s family, who have the pink tutu’s ready to go and will be taking part at different speeds for the same cause! The whole team and Sarah would truly appreciate it if you were able to donate anything, big or small! Many thanks Joel, Team Saz

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
