Jodi's Race for Life

As some of you know, I got diagnosed with breast cancer in February just 2 months after having my little girl. It's been a rubbish start to what should have been the best time of my life. Everyday is different and there's still so much more to face but unless I want to sit around and feel sorry for myself, I've got to keep smiling, hold my head up (so my wig doesn't fall off ?) and get on with it. I've got some amazing people around me who are helping more than they realise and I am so grateful for that. So I've decided to take part in the race for life to try and help raise money for the life saving treatments that me and so many others rely on everyday. I might not raise a lot but instead of sitting there waiting for my next chemo session, I might aswel get up and do something towards it. I realise some people don't agree with cancer charities and have lost loved ones to this vile thing but I'm relying on this treatment to stick around so I want to try and contribute towards it. I'm only doing the 5k as I'll be mid treatment so not very strong (that's my excuse anyway ?) but hopefully I'll get enough support to make a little difference.
